Bodega de Arte Afterschool Program
The mission of Bodega de Arte (BDA) is to create a supportive bilingual environment where our students have opportunities for expanded academic support and unique enrichment programs. Here is a quick glimpse of our program
- A typical schedule for full-time Bodega de Arte includes:
- 2:30–2:45: Community Meeting
- 2:45–3:45: Enrichment Clubs
- 3:45–4:00: Snack
- 4:00–5:15: ¡Progresa! (Academics)
- 5:15–5:45: ¡Actívate! (Health and Fitness)
- 5:45–6:00: Clean up and ready for Pick up
- Program Costs
- $135/5 days
- $110/4 days
- $95/3 days
- Unfortunately, BDA does not accept EEC vouchers
- BDA runs Monday through Friday from 3:10 pm-6 pm. (Our program is not open when BPS has vacation or snow days)
- We work with many outside partnerships to strengthen our community including:
- Strong Women, Strong Girls, Peace Through Play, Sole Train, and BUILD Tutors from Boston University.

After School Enrichment Workshops
After school enrichment workshops run during three seasonal 10-week sessions from 3:10-4:30pm on various days of the week. Workshops are available to students in grades K2-6. Students can enroll in multiple workshops and multiple sessions throughout the year. Workshops are priced on a sliding scale based on family income to ensure access to all students. The following programs are offered:
- Swimming Lessons
- Chess
- Coding
- Robotics
- Musical Theater
- Chorus
- Painting
- General Art
- Soccer
- Basketball
Boston Music Project String Orchestra
The Boston Music Project after school string orchestra operates Tuesdays and Thursdays each week from 3:10-4:45pm for the entire school year. Orchestra is available to students in grades K1-8. Students can choose to play the cello, violin or viola. Instruments are provided. Students are taught in a group setting and are given multiple opportunities to perform throughout the year. The fee for orchestra is based on family income to ensure access to all students.
