Support the Hurley

  • Make a Donation

Make an online tax deductible donation to the school through our non-profit partner, Neighborhood Parents for the Hurley School. Support this deserving school and help our students achieve academic success. We appreciate your support. Muchas gracias!

  • Boxtops for Education

Look for the Boxtops for Education logo on hundreds of participating products you already buy, like cereals, dairy products and even school and office supplies. Cut them out and deposit them in the box outside the front office. The Hurley School gets ten cents per logo, which adds up when we all work together. You can also do your online shopping through the Box Tops Market Place to earn e-box tops for the Hurley. Check the Box Tops website to learn about other worthwhile Box Tops promotions.

  • In-Kind Donations

The Hurley School welcomes donations of books, office supplies, and other goods and services from the community. If you have items you’d like to donate, please contact the main office at 617-635-8489. Please note that we can only accept computers and other technological devices found on the Boston Public Schools’ list of supported electronics; please check with the main office.

  • Hurleywear & Hurleygear

Show your Hurley pride with Hurley T-shirts, sweatshirts and bumper stickers. All proceeds from your Hurleywear purchase benefit the school. Check back soon to find out how to order your Hurleywear online.

  • Club ¡TropiCaliente!

It’s the most fun you’ll ever have at a fundraiser — ¡TropiCaliente! an annual benefit evening for the Hurley School. Each spring, this neighborhood event raises tens of thousands of dollars to help the Hurley. To discover how to become a sponsor, donate to the silent auction, or buy tickets, visit the ¡TropiCaliente! website.

  • Fiesta de las Matemáticas y Ciencias

This in-school event inspires students to take pride in their school and take part in raising funds to support the Hurley. Each spring, students and families play math and science games together, eat dinner, and then convene in the gym for dessert and a raffle drawing for exciting prizes. Local business can support the Hurley by donating items to the raffle, and friends and neighbors can get in on the fun by purchasing raffle tickets from a Hurley student. Proceeds fund student fieldtrips.

  • DonorsChoose.org

The great teachers at the Hurley K-8 School periodically post fundraising projects to DonorsChoose.org. DonorsChoose is an online charity that allows public school teachers to post classroom project requests online.  Anyone can donate, and when the project reaches its goal, DonorsChoose ships the materials to the school. Please visit the Hurley K–8 page on DonorsChoose.org  to see any current projects.
