When does the school year start and end?
The first day of school is usually the Thursday after Labor Day for students in 1st–8th grades, and the following Monday for children entering K1 and K2. The last day of school is in late June; the date often shifts due to snow days and other changes. We try to keep the Hurley calendar up to date, but parents are advised to check the Boston Public School calendar(link is external) in May to confirm the last day of the school year or call the Hurley front office at 617-635-8489.
