Volunteers are screened according to Boston Public School guidelines and must undergo a criminal background check CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) and SORI (Sexual Offender Record Information) annually. Please visit the office for more information.

How can I donate money or goods to the school?

There are lots of ways to donate to the Hurley. Please see our Support section for more information.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Both the Hurley School and the Neighborhood Parents for the Hurley School (NPHS) are non-profit entities and most cash and some other types of contributions are tax-deductible, where permitted by law. When making a contribution directly to the school, please contact the school office to find out which contributions are eligible and to obtain a receipt. To make a contribution to NPHS, a 501(c)(3) organization and to learn to what extent it might be deductible, please contact the NPHS at discoverhurley.org
